Singapore Airlines Decides to Reroute Flights as Measure against N. Korea Missiles
Singapore's flag carrier has changed its Seoul to Los Angeles route as a precautionary step against missile launches from North Korea.
Channel News Asia reported Wednesday that Singapore Airlines has been taking steps to reroute the flight path since July this year.
The decision was reportedly made after the North fired a missile into the East Sea on July 28th.
As a member of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the North is obliged to give prior notice of any actions that could threaten the safety of civilian aircraft.
The organization condemned the Pyongyang regime in October for its repeated launch of ballistic missiles.
