Cyprus Airways to launch six new routes

Cyprus Airways on Friday announced six new destinations for the summer of 2018, from Larnaca Airport to Athens, Munich, Prague, Stuttgart, Zurich and Verona.

A press release issued by the company on Friday said that flights to Athens are scheduled to begin on March 29, 2018.

Flights to the rest of the new destinations are scheduled to begin in May 2018.

In July 2016, Charlie Airlines Ltd, a Cyprus-registered company, won a public competition for the right to use the trademark Cyprus Airways for 10 years.

The company, which is based at Larnaca International Airport, launched flights in June 2017 to four destinations.

All Cyprus Airways flights operate on modern Airbus A319 aircraft, the company said.
