Flynas to launch flights to Iraq
Saudi budget carrier Flynas has announced it will start operating direct flights to Iraq "within weeks", making it the first Saudi airline to fly to Iraq in 27 years.
"Flights from main airports in the kingdom to a number of Iraqi cities will start within weeks," the airline said in a statement carried on its website.
Saudi Arabia and Iraq cancelled all flight connections between them in 1990 when Iraq invaded the kingdom's neighboring ally, Kuwait.
Flynas did not give details of which Iraqi cities it would fly to.
