AirAsia Berhad to suspend Goa-Kuala Lumpur flight

AirAsia Berhad, the Malaysian low-cost airline headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, has announced that it is suspending its three times a week flight between Kuala Lumpur and Goa from June 7. In a statement, the airline said that the decision to suspend the flight has been taken as part of its route rationalisation initiative. The airline had started operating on the route in October last year. Sources indicated that the suspension could be temporary. The AirAsia group operates 94 weekly services from various destinations within the country. These include flights operated by AirAsia X and AirAsia Thailand.
